Gugun SHELTER AND THE BLUESGugun And The Blues Shelter or often abbreviated to GBS was born in 2004. A blues band from Jakarta, which consists of 3 persons personnel, among others Gugun (guitar), Jono (bass) and Bowie (drums). Their music was inspired by Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Betty Davis, and Led Zeppelin.
Gugun Shelter And The Blues managed to stand on the international music scene like in Malaysia, Singapore, Shanghai and the UK. A pride when they can gig together with the big bands are Bon Jovi, Rod Stewart and The Killers, in the UK.
Gugun fifth album And The Blues Shelter entitled 'Solid Ground', was released by Grooveyard Records, based in New York, United States.
